The annual SMRU Traveling Award program has the primary objective of stimulating the scientific interests of residents and fellows in the study of male reproductive medicine. This program is supported by PHS Grant R13 HD044249 from NIH/NICHD. This Traveling Award allows a diverse group of young clinical physicians and basic science researchers, who otherwise may not be able to attend the ASRM Annual Meeting, the opportunity to explore a career in male reproductive medicine. All of the awardees attend the SMRU postgraduate course. The Traveling Award Scientific Agenda includes roundtable luncheons and breakfast meetings with lectures. The award recipients receive special recognition at the Opening Ceremony and are introduced by the ASRM Executive Director. The award further provides for hotel accommodations, round-trip coach class airfare, meeting registration, roundtable luncheons, and postgraduate course registration fee.
